Islamabad: Prime Minister Syed Yousuf Raza Gilani Sunday said that parliament would take final decision regarding reopening of NATO supply line to Afghanistan through Pakistan.
Talking to media at Chaklala airbase before leaving for Seoul, South Korea, to take part in nuclear security conference, Prime Minister Gilani said that all the parties in the parliament would make consensus in NATO supply restoration.
He said that Afghanistan and other security issues would be discussed with the US president.
He rejected fears over country’s nuclear weapons, and said that Pakistan has very robust, multilayered command and control systems.
Later, Prime Minister Syed Yousuf Raza Gilani arrived in the South Korean capital‚ Seoul on Sunday afternoon to attend the second nuclear security summit beginning tomorrow.
The summit is aimed at further promoting nuclear security through national actions and international cooperation on a voluntary basis.
Prime Minister will apprise the world leaders on the measures implemented by Pakistan to strengthen safety and security of its nuclear installations and materials.
The Prime Minister will make a strong case for non-discrimiNATOry access to nuclear technology for peaceful uses including nuclear power generation to meet growing energy and development needs.
