ISLAMABAD: Brig Ali has requested the Abbottabad commission to record his statement regarding the operation.
According to a private TV channel, Brig Ali has requested the commission to record his statement regarding the May 2 operation, carried out by the US troops in Abbottabad and killed Osama Bin Laden.
He said that the government’s fall after Kargil incident and Abbottababd operation had similarities and both the incidents had impressed him, the report quoting sources added.
The Brig stated that all the information is relating to the country’s interest and he wanted to convey it to the people concerned before his death.
Brig Ali Khan was arrested on charges of having links with a banned organization Hizb-ut-Tahrir. Online
