Khyber Agency: At least nine security officials were martyred while
23 militants were killed in two different incidents in Khyber Agency,
officials said on Friday.
The military officials said that seven
soldiers were killed when militants ambushed security forces check post
in Teerah Valley of the area. They said 23 militants were also killed
in the clash.
The sources said that two personnel of
pro-government militia were killed and two others injured as a remote
control blast hit their vehicle in Khyber Agency.
Their vehicle
was targeted with a remote-controlled bomb, official saod. Two others
were also injured in the attack who were shifted to the nearby hospital
