Interior Minister Rehman Malik has announced to bring back former president gen (retd)
Parvez Musharraf in country soon in Benazir Bhutto assassination case,
adding that the red warrants would be issued soon in this regard and
notice to Musharraf has already been served.
He said that every citizen of the country want to know the conspiracy
of BB murder, adding that it would take some time to bring the
information of killers of BB in front of masses.
This was informed by Interior Minister Rehman Malik and investigation
team of BB murder case including IG Islamabad and Khalid Qureshi while
briefing members of Sindh Assembly about Benazir Bhutto murder case.
Malik said that all accused in BB murder have been arrested, adding
that the arrested accused have informed about the details of BB murder
planning, adding that the criminals would be brought in court of justice
soon.
He said that Osama bin Laden had given heavy amount for formation of
IJI, adding that Taliban and Parvez Musharraf considered BB as opponent,
adding that three bullets were fired on BB and suicide bomber blew
himself up three feet away from BB vehicle, adding that five accused got
education Jamia Haqqania.
He said that one child was tried to given to BB and I stopped her to
take the child, adding that instead of child it was bomb which was
detonated later.
He said that the accused have informed all the details of the
planning and execution of the BB murder, adding that there are all
details who provided the suiciders and who financed it, adding that
still it is difficult to point out the exact people behind the murder of
BB.
He said that the NRO was issued by the then government and cabinet, adding that BB had rejected the NRO.
He said that the police officials present on the death of BB had denied the autopsy of the BB.
He said that the pictures of milk and honey canals are fixed on the
walls of the training camp, adding that the ages of the suicide bombers
are between 15 to 20 years.
He said that my duty was not to protect BB physically, adding that BB
had not provided VIP security. He said that Taliban are enemies of
women, minorities and political opponents.
He said that the rumours that I had fled from the scene after the
attack is not right, adding that this information has been spread by
opponents.
He said that one person was recording the video of BB near airport
while climbing on the tree when I sent two persons to arrest the
suspected persons he managed to flee the scene.
Rehman Malik said that Benazir Bhutto had supported the Lal Mosque
operation, adding that the whole planning was done by Baitualh Mehsood
and Al-Qaeda leader Al-Misry while sitting in Makin, adding that
Al-Misry was killed later in drone attack.
He said that the Karsaz attack was also conduced with planning,
adding that the investigations of this attacks should also be carried
out, adding that Chief Minister Syed Qaim Ali Shah should form
investigation team to probe this attack.
He said that the attackers resided in the room of the Jamia Haqqani
Akora Khatack, adding that he is not alleging that Maulana Samiul Haq is
involved in the murder of BB. He said that the administrators of the
seminaries should adopt such modus operandi that the terrorists should
not stay at their seminaries.
He said that one military officer had talked with Benazir Bhutto prior to the public gathering in Peshawar.
He said that one of the accused opened the sim one year after the incident and was caught.
He said that Musharraf had informed BB that if she would come to
Pakistan she would be responsible for any mishap. He said that day and
night they have work on the BB murder case.
He said that the suicide bomber stayed at the home of Rafaqat for one
night prior to the attack on BB at Liaquat Bagh, adding that the Ramzi
Yousuf had planned the murder of the BB and many attempts were done for
the murder of BB.
He said that Ramzi Yousuf was arrested after the attack on world
trade centre, adding that Ramzi Yousuf is the nephew of khalid Sheikh
Muhammad.
He said that BB had used to visit her mother Nusrat Bhutto in 70
Clifton and Ramzi Yousuf during the way from Bilawal House and Clifton
tried to plant a remote controlled bomb blast in the manhole to attack
BB.
He said that Razmi Yousuf informed this during the investigations,
adding that Ramzi also remained under treatment in Jinnah Hospital
Lahore for 13 days on the name of Adam Khan. He said that the
terrorists went in different cities including Larkana to kill BB. He
said that 27 groups were trying to target BB and at last one group was
succeeded to martyr her in Rawalpindi.
He said that the police personnel were removed during the public
gathering in Liaquat Bagh and when I asked about this I was informed
that the rally of Nawaz Sharif has been attacked near airport and these
police personnel are going there.
IG Islamabad Police Binyamin said that Rehmatullah and his three sons were involved in the murder of BB.
The head of the investigation team Khalid Qureshi briefing the
members of the assembly said that Maulana Hassan Jan was killed by
Taliban because he had termed the suicide bombings as un-Islamic during a
Juma sermon and later he was wanted and killed by Taliban. He said that
the suicide bomber blew himself up three feet away from the BB vehicle,
adding that three bullets were fired on BB.
He said that the training camps of the terrorists are also present in
Afghanistan, adding that Baitullha Mehsood had paid 0.4 million rupees
to the suicide bomber for murder of BB, adding that the death of BB was
occurred in the result of wound, which she received in her head.
He said that Qari Husain trained many suicide bombers in Waziristan Agency.
He said that it was wrong to wash out the crime scene immediately
after the attack, adding that after the attack on Musharraf in 2004 the
crime scene was not washed out for three days.
Khalid Qureshi said the terrorists use one sim for one attack, adding
that the attackers also had the hand grenade. He said that former IB
chief Ijaz Shah has not been found involved in the BB murder case. He
said that Rafaqat had taken the suicide bombers in Rawalpindi. Meanwhile
the pictures of suicide bombers, training camps, maps and were also
shown on the slide show.
The investigation officer also read out the script of the talks,
which were aired after the murder of BB by Musharraf government, in
which one person allegedly was informing and congratulating Baitullah
Mehsood over the murder of BB. Meanwhile 9 members of PML-Q, PML-F and
PPP asked questioned to Rehman Malik but no member of MQM raised any
question regarding the BB murder case investigations. SANA
