Miranshah: At least 12 more people killed in second US drone attack
in North Waziristan on Thursday reached death toll to 18, officials
said.
According security officials, eight hours after first
strike in a day which claimed 6 lives, another US predator fired two
missiles on a vehicle on Mirl Ali Hai Soro Road, resultantly, 12 people
were killed and other injured.
Earlier Thursday morning a US
drone strike targeting a residential compound killed six people in a
northwest Pakistan tribal region near the Afghan border.
The CIA
operated drone attacks have been intensified in recent days after
months of lull following the NATO attacks on a Pakistani check post late
