Gen Dempsey says US achieved military targets in Afghanistan

Chairman of the Joint Chiefs of Staff General Martin Dempsey has said that the US forces have achieved all the military targets in Afghanistan, adding that the safe havens of terrorists are present in Pakistan.

He said that they are not worried about the suspension of NATO supplies, adding that it is awful that the Pakistanis think Americans responsible for the NATO attack, adding that Pakistan should wait for the results of the investigations of the NATO attack on Pakistani check posts in Mohmad Agency.

The US general further said that the NATO attack in Mohamand Agency was not deliberate, adding that Pakistan check post was not attacked by US. The influence of Pakistan in Afghanistan should have to end.
He said that the US would not pay the compensation to the owners of the destroyed NATO oil tankers.
