Media Advisor to President Farha Naz Isfahani has rejected that Pakistan Ambassador to the United States Hussain Haqqani has delivered any letter to the US authorities via Pakistani American Mansoor Ejaz.
Talking to the media persons in Supreme Court on Monday, she demanded
forensic investigation into the entire scandal. She said we have faced
imprisonment and exile in the past and are present in the country to
face this scandal as we have done nothing wrong.
Farahnaz, who is also the wife of Pakistan Ambassador to US Hussain
Haqqani, has announced for legal action in the Mansoor Ijaz’s memo
scandal case.
She said that they want forensic investigation of Hussain Haqqani’s blackberry phone and computer.
The MNA told that Ambassador Haqqani is scheduled to meet President
Asif Ali Zardari, Prime Minister Yousuf Raza Gilani and other officials
She strongly denounced Manzoor Ejaz for frequently changing his statements on the memo issue.

Ispahani raised doubts over the credibility of the Pakistani American
businessman Mansoor Ijaz who claims that Haqqani asked him to deliver
the memo to Adm Mike Mullen in May this year.
She said that Ijaz is a foreign national who is blaming us and
attacking Pakistan’s democracy. Ispahani denied the allegations
regarding the controversial memo and said the pair is ready for
Pakistani and American courts because they have nothing to hide.
“I am a worker of the Pakistan People’s Party (PPP),” she said. “When
the president and prime minister guide us to take a legal option, we
will do so,” she added.
She also said that if the top leadership of her party permits it, the pair will take Ijaz to court for libel.
Let Mansoor Ijaz come forward, we are not among those people (who are
afraid), we have gone to jail and exile,” she said, mounting a spirited
defence of her husband. SANA
