At least five citizens including two real brothers have been killed in Karachi during different
incidents of target killing on Wednesday; meanwhile Chief Justice Sindh
High Court (SHC) has taken notice of violent incidents and summoned
report in this regard.
According to details, unknown gunmen shot dead four people in a
target killing incident near Nagan Chowrangi and another citizen was
killed by gunmen in Shah Faisal Colony.
Police sources told that the motorcyclist miscreants opened fire at a
garment shop, leaving five visitors critically injured who were rushed
to hospital but four among them succumbed to injuries during medical
treatment.
One among dead was going to ‘tie the knot’ in a few coming days,
bereaved family says. Police says the gun attack was a target killing
incident.
Replying to a question regarding rusty security situation, SSP
Central said that police cannot provide security to every citizen,
adding that the agency was doing its best to minimize such incidents. SANA
