Lahore : A Pakistan India hockey series seems likely after tensions between the two countries somewhat eased after cricket World Cup 2011 semi-final between India and Pakistan in Mohali on March 30, 2011.
Pakistan Hockey Federation PHF Secretary Asif Bajwa told Dawn News on Friday that efforts were being made to hold a hockey series between Pakistan and India by the end of this year. In this regard contact has been made between Bajwa and Indian Hockey Federation.The series will take place between the junior and senior teams and the schedule would be announced after governments of both countries give security clearance, Bajwa added.
