Mohali : India captain Mahendra Singh Dhoni asked his team not to get distracted by the hype about their cricket World Cup semi final match against arch rivals Pakistan on Wednesday and advised them to focus on their game.
He said all members of his team are fit for the match at Mohali. Excitement rose and security tightened on Tuesday ahead of match between India and Pakistan, one of the great sporting contests that has huge political significance.
Prime Minister Manmohan Singh has invited his Pakistani counterpart Prime Minister Yusuf Raza Gilani to watch the game with him. The goodwill gesture comes at a time when the countries are tentatively getting their peace process back on track after it was derailed by November 2008 Mumbai attacks.
