Nawaz Sharif gives go-ahead for unification of PML factions sans Chaudhry brothers

ISLAMABAD: PML-N Quaid Mian Nawaz Sharif has given green signal for unification of all the factions of Pakistan Muslim League minus Chaudhry brothers.
A PML (like minded) delegation led by senator Salim Saifullah met Mian Nawaz Sharif in Punjab House Islamabad Tuesday. Senator Haroon Akhtar Khan, Ghaffar Qureshi, Gulshan Saeed, Raja Zafar ul Haq, Pervez Rashid and Khawaja Asif were also present in the meeting.
The participants exchanged views on unification of all the factions of PML.
Talking to media men after the meeting, Senator Haroon Akhtar said headway had been made on the matter of unification of all the factions of PML following the meeting with Nawaz Sharif. We will move it ahead, he added. All the Muslim Leaguer should unite to pull the country out of quagmire, he stressed. “We made request to Nawaz Sharif to play his role in this respect. Suffering will continue till Muslim Leaguers are not united, he remarked. Too much flexibility has come in the attitude of Nawaz Sharif , he said.
Sources told Online PML (like minded) had proposed that Nawaz Should accept the chairmanship of united Muslim League.
Nawaz Sharif said he could pardon those who had left PML-N in hard times but could not forgive Chaudhry brothers. They always preferred their personal interest to party interest , Nawaz Sharif added.
