Five thousand passports theft issue still not resolved: TAP

ISLAMABAD: Travel Agents of Pakistan (TAP) Tuesday said that theft issue of more than 5,000 passports from association office was unresolved and no action was taken against the persons involved in theft.
Police have not framed any charge against the culprits, said the TAP Regional Secretary (South) Aman Ullah Sulman in a statement. Around 5,634 persons and families were suffering because of the missing of their passports and facing severe problems in that context.
Travel Agents Association of Pakistan’s regional sectary (South) Aman Ullah Sulman condemned stealing of passports in the night between June 5 and 6, and strongly urged the Sindh Governor Dr Ishratul Abad, Federal Interior Minister Rehman Malik, police and investigation unit to look into matter and find out the missing passports and bring the culprits involved in the matter to the book.
