Musharraf's party's 'people-friendly' manifesto to bring positive change in Pakistan: Naeem Tahir

The 'people-friendly' manifesto of the All Pakistan Muslim League will ensure a positive change in the country, APML Central Leader Naeem Tahir has said.
On coming into power, the APML would take up practical steps for welfare of the masses, rather than resorting to mere hollow slogans or tall claims, the Daily Times quoted Tahir, as saying while talking to media persons.
APML chief Pervez Musharraf had chalked out a viable plan, which would guarantee people's rights, he said, adding that the people of Pakistan still remember the public welfare tasks accomplished by the former military ruler.
Musharraf is the only leader having the ability to steer Pakistan out of prevailing crises through his vision, said Tahir.
He said that Musharraf had constituted a political party not for acquiring power, but for the sacred cause of public service, that is why APML's manifesto is 'a strong Pakistan'.
Tahir asserted that many political leaders had resorted to negative propaganda against Musharraf, but that they all were exposed after an interview given by the former president to a television channel. (ANI)
