RAWALPINDI : Director General Inter-Services-Public Relations (ISPR)
Major General Athar Abbass has said that
Inter-Services-Intelligence (ISI) is a professional organization, which has no
contacts with any terrorist group, adding that ISI has no links with the Mumbai
terrorist attacks.
In an interview with Indian TV channel, Athar Abbass demanded of the American
authorities to immediately stop the drone attacks inside the Pakistani
territory.
He said that the government policy about the drone attacks is very much clear
and Pakistani Army fully supports the government stance.
He said that the drone attacks are damaging the war against terrorism, adding
that these attacks are causing collateral damage and instigate public anger
against the Americans.
Athar Abbass said that the ISI has no contacts with any terrorist group,
adding that Pakistan army officers are working as senior officers in ISI, adding
that work is going on to enhance the patrolling at the LOC and monitor the
movement of the people there.
DG ISPR rejected the Indian allegation regarding the presence of Chinese army
in Northern Areas of Pakistan. SANA
