ISLAMABAD: National Assembly (NA) session has been adjourned till
today (Tuesday) due to absence of members of assembly and lack of
quorum.
NA session started under deputy speaker Faisal Karim Kundi 45 minutes beyond schedule Monday.
Speaker
sought opinion from the members that torrential rain was continuing
outside the parliament due to which legislators could not attend the
session and quorum was also not complete. As to why the session be not
adjourned till Tuesday, he inquired. Majority of the members approved
the suggestion for adjourning the session. Online
