Amin holds Nawaz Musharraf responsible for energy crises

KARACHI: Federal Minister for Commerce Makhdoom Amin Faheem has said that Pervez Musharraf and Nawaz Sharif are the responsible for the energy crises as they failed to produce even one megawatts of electricity during their tenures.

He was speaking to media after inauguration the 6th Expo 2011 here on Thursday. He said that PPP is in the power and PML(N) is strolling in the streets.
He said that although the country is facing acute energy crises. It is also expected fact that most of the business community is shifting their investment to foreign countries to which the situation is getting better gradually due to energy shortage and law and order situation. The government is working on the projects of the power generations besides huge dams and small water reservoirs. Pak Iran gas pipeline and start of Diamir Bhasha Dam is the important development in this regard. The condition of law and order in the country is also getting improving slowly.
“If son of Zulfiqar Mirza would submit the application to the party for contesting the bye-election from Badin, I, being the Chairman of Peoples Party Parliamentarian would definitely give him party ticket but if he would not apply for it then what I can do for him”, he responded a question.
Earlier while speaking to the inaugural ceremony of Expo 2011, minister said that the federal cabinet would give approval regarding trade policy soon. He said that the expo would not only promote the business related activates in the country but would also boost up the morale of the traders and industrialists. Online
