ISLAMABAD: Interior Minister Rehman Malik will take into confidence
President Asif Ali Zardari and Prime Minister (PM) Syed Yousuf Raza
Gilani Sunday on the steps taken by government to ensure peace and
security in Karachi.
Rehman Malik had arrived here Sunday
evening after spending a long time in Karachi under the directives of
President and PM. He will give briefing both of them on law and order
situation in Karachi and will apprise them of the measures which have
led to bring about improvement in Karachi situation.
It may be
recalled Rehman Malik also offered Eid prayers with the legal heirs of
martyred police personnel in Police headquarters and inquired about the
health of injured police personnel in police hospital.
Rehman
Malik would return to Karachi after his meeting with the President and
Prime Minister and would chair a high level meeting therein to review
law and order situation in Karachi. Online
