JUI-F leader among two killed in Chaman road mishap

Two people, among them Jamiat Ulema-e-Islam-Fazal central leader Abdul Ghani, were killed in a road accident near Chaman town bordering Afghanistan.

Maolana Abdul Ghani was on way to his madrasah in a car when another fast-moving vehicle, coming from opposite side, collided with his car while overtaking, killing the JUI-F leader and another person on the spot.
Maolana’s driver and three persons onboard the other car, were critically injured in the mishap took place at Chaman College road; meanwhile the injured were shifted to District Headquarters Hospital, Chaman.
Abdul Ghani, 75, was former member National Assembly, elected twice from the Chaman and Pashen constituencies. He was a close aide of JUI-F Chief Maolana Fazlur Rehman and a founding member of the religious party SANA
