MULTAN: Prime Minister (PM) Syed Yousuf Raza Gilani has said no
undemocratic step will be taken during budget session of Punjab
Assembly (PA).
The PM was talking to media men on the occasion
of inauguration of New Multan city railway station and ring road here
Saturday.
“We believe in democratic norms and we want
democratic system should run. Zulfiqar Ali Bhutto and Benazir Bhutto
had rendered sacrifices of their lives for the sake of democracy and we
will not allow these sacrifices to go waste”, he remarked.
On
the eve of budget session of Punjab Assembly PPP will play its role in
line with democratic requirements, he told adding we will not take any
undemocratic step. It is incumbent upon us to safeguard democratic
