Islamabad : Prime Minister Syed Yousaf Raza Gilani left for Shangahi on Tuesdayon a four day visit to China for wide ranging talks with the Chineseleadership.
Talking to the media persons at Chaklala airbase beforedeparture, the prime minister said that he is visiting China to marksixty years of Pakistan-China friendship.
He said Pakistan and China have multifacted relations in different fields including defense, trade, economy and culture. These relations will be furtherstrengthened and bolstered.
The prime minister said that Shahrah-e-Karakoram is the biggesttestimony of Sino-Pakistan relations and in collaboration with China,Pakistan has completed various mega projects.
Replying to a question regarding Abbottabad incident, the Prime Minister said China understands our position and has fully supported Pakistan. He said my visit is to express solidarity with China at this moment.
The Prime Minister said China's economy is growing at a fast pace andwe want to enhance our bilateral trade to correspond it with the levelof our mutual friendship.
He said during his meeting with Chinese businessmen in Shanghai,dicsussions will be held to further the existing trade and investmentrelations between the two countries. PPI
