PPP, PML-Q agree over ministries distribution in Sindh

KARACHI: The telephonic contacts between President Asif Ali Zardari and Chaudhry Shujat Hussain turned out to be fruitful as Pakistan People Party (PPP) and Pakistan Muslim League Quaid (PML-Q) have agreed over distribution of ministries in Sindh.

According to sources, PML-Q ministers and advisers have been agreed to return their portfolios to Muttahida Qaumi Movement (MQM). Earlier, PPP and PML-Q had a conflict over distribution of portfolios to MQM ministers.
The PML-Q ministers and advisors of the province will withdraw from their positions and they will be given new positions. Halim Aadil Sheikh will be given Transport ministry, Aijaz Shirazi Forest Department and Shehryar Mahar Board of Investment.
Speaker Sindh Assembly Nisar Khuhro rejected possibility of making Arbab Ghulam Rahim as opposition leader. Arbab Rahim belongs to the Like Minded group and it is not registered, Khuhro said. There is no opposition leader in the Sindh Assembly at present.  Online
