Islamabad: Chief of Air staff, Rao Qamar Suleman Sunday ordered to
form an investigative committee to probe into radar system failure on
2nd May when US choppers penetrated deep inside Pakistan.
According
to sources, Air Chief would head the inquiry committee which would
investigate how radar system was failed to detect the US chopper who
infiltrate the country air space and conducted operation in Abbottabad
just 60 miles away from Islamabad, the capital of the country.
Sources
told that the committee would try to find out the reasons of this
failure, whether the radars had been jammed by US apparatus or they
were not functional at that time. Air chief directed committee to
