ISLAMABAD : After the rejection of the review petition of the appointment of judges’ from Supreme Court, the Parliamentary Committee said that it would have put this issue in the parliament or not would be decided after the release of detail judgment of the of Supreme Court.
The meeting of Parliamentary Committee held on Friday in the Parliament House.
This Parliamentary Committee meeting was held to discuss the situation arising after the judgment of Supreme Court. The Supreme Court had deposed off the review petition of the government against the SC decision in appointment of judges.
The government and its collation partners were of the view that without wasting any time we would have put this issue in the parliament for discussion. Then the Parliamentary Committee decided that it would decide future strategy about this issue after the detailed decision of Supreme Court.
Talking with media Nayyar Hussain Bukhari said that we received the decision only of few lines, and we are waiting for the detail decision. In answer of the question that Babar Awan had said that the government would not do anything now, he replied that it is issue of the government and the Supreme Court and we are doing our job. SANA
