GUJRANWALA : Australian High Commissioner,Tim George Tuesday said Australia was providing solar energyequipment to Pakistan to overcome power crisis.
Addressing a meeting of the Gujranwal Chamber ofCommerce and Industry, he said Australia was also extendingcooperation in the education sector as more than 5,000Pakistani students were getting education in Australia. He said the establishment of an Australian and Pakistanbusiness forum was being chalked out to boost business and trade between the two countries. He said a website was also being set up for the forumto facilitate the business community of both countries for business guidelines and information. The high commissioner said there were a lot ofopportunities of business and trade between the two countries, adding that trade could be enhanced through joint ventures. (APP)
